Introduction- "Did I do that?"

For the second sixth weeks the Essential question was "Did I do that?" So our group decided to create a series of different social media type artifacts to outline our important information, which included Facebook pages, quizzes, and picture slide shows.
In the first artifact, "What makes me nervous?", you will learn about the organization of the nervous system, cells of the nervous system, nerve impulses, the synapse, and reflex arc. In the second artifact, "Are you going to fight or flee?", the central nervous system is explained, descriptions of the three meninges are explained, the structures and functions of many parts are provided as well, and the peripheral nervous system is described. In the third artifact, "Does that make sense?", types, distributions, and functions of receptors are provided. Special senses such as smell, taste, hearing, balance, are vision are explained in detail. The structures of specific parts are described as well. In the fourth artifact, "Hormones, the perfect storm?", you will learn about hormones, their functions and locations, protaglandins, pituitary glands, pineal gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, adrenal gland, pancreatic islets, gonads, placenta, thymus, gastric and intestinal mucosa, and the heart.
