Introduction:
There are 4 artifacts that include a magazine, a poster, a dating website, and a powerpoint. Each has information about a certain topic and includes explanations. In the first artifact, "where is it?", you will learn what anatomy and physiology are. You will read the life characteristics such as responsiveness, growth, respiration, and many more characteristics. The levels of organization from smallest to largest are included and the functions of each system is explained as well. Homeostasis is the property of the system that regulates the internal environment and tends to maintain a stable constant condition. Anatomical planes, directional terms, and body organizations are shown and explained. In the second artfact, "what is it made of?", list of organelles, organic compounds, inorganic compounds, plasma membrane, enzymes, and protein functions are explained in detail. Explanations of what is included in each organelle in included.
In the third artifact, "how does it work", you will learn about passive transport, active transport, cell metabolism, protein synthesis, and growth. Diffusion, dialysis, and osmosis are included as well for further understanding of passive transport. In the fourth artifact, "what can I see?", explains each type of tissue such as simple squamous, stratified squamous, simple cuboidal, pseudostratified, transitional, and glandular epithelium. You will also read about connective tissue membranes and the muscle tissue which includes cardiac, smooth and skeletal tissues. The nervous system is also described and it contains the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system.

Introduction- "Did I do that?"
For the second sixth weeks the Essential question was "Did I do that?" So our group decided to create a series of different social media type artifacts to outline our important information, which included Facebook pages, quizzes, and picture slide shows.
In the first artifact, "What makes me nervous?", you will learn about the organization of the nervous system, cells of the nervous system, nerve impulses, the synapse, and reflex arc. In the second artifact, "Are you going to fight or flee?", the central nervous system is explained, descriptions of the three meninges are explained, the structures and functions of many parts are provided as well, and the peripheral nervous system is described. In the third artifact, "Does that make sense?", types, distributions, and functions of receptors are provided. Special senses such as smell, taste, hearing, balance, are vision are explained in detail. The structures of specific parts are described as well. In the fourth artifact, "Hormones, the perfect storm?", you will learn about hormones, their functions and locations, protaglandins, pituitary glands, pineal gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, adrenal gland, pancreatic islets, gonads, placenta, thymus, gastric and intestinal mucosa, and the heart.
